On April 10-12, 2025, the 15th Craniocerebral Trauma Academic Conference was successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. This conference gathered the top experts in the field at home and abroad to discuss and share the latest treatment technology, research results and clinical experience of craniocerebral trauma, and is committed to promoting the development of the discipline and technological innovation, and providing patients with better quality and safer medical protection. Nearly 1.000 neurosurgeon experts have participated in this conference.
iMedcare held a seminar on standardized management of craniocerebral trauma and cerebrospinal fluid in the afternoon of April 10th, and invited Prof. Jiang Jiyao from Renji Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Prof. Feng Guang from Henan Provincial People's Hospital, Prof. Qu Yan from Tangdu Hospital of Air Force Medical University, Prof. Huang Qibing from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Prof. Shu Kai from Tongji Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Liu Jinfang from Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Prof. Qiu Binghui from Nanfang Hospital of South Medical University, and Prof. Zhang Tao from Taihe Hospital of Shiyan City. The discussion was focus on multimodal brain monitoring technology, ICP management of hypertensive ICH and severe subarachnoid hemorrhage, and the application of ICP and ICT monitoring in children with craniocerebral injury. Prof. Hang Chunhua from Gulou Hospital of Nanjing University School of Medicine, Prof. Wu Xuehai from Huashan Hospital of Fudan University, Prof. Wang Yongxin from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, Prof. Gao Guoyi from Beijing Tiantan Hospital of Capital Medical University, Prof. Qu Xin from Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University, Prof. Ding Changqing from the Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Qingdao University and Dr. Yukihiro GOTO from Koto Memorial Hospital of Japan. Discussions centered on cerebrospinal fluid management in terms of shunt path selection, LP shunt for secondary hydrocephalus experience, high pressure/ultra-high pressure shunt application, and shunt valve initial pressure selection. Dozens of experts from nearly 30 hospitals across China participated in the exchange and discussion.
